At DHE we love creating and hosting events that bring our neighborhood closer together. Whether its a summer block party, fall chili cook off, or a Friday night food truck, your HOA wants to create a fun and friendly atmosphere where all residents can get to know each other. HOA Calendar 2026

(*all dates subject change)

31 January 2026: Annual HOA fee is due. Late fee applies after 31 January.

26 April 2026: Spring Clean Up (Meet at 1123 Blackthorn Rd at 5:00pm. We will walk the neighborhood and pick up trash in the common areas, streets, and creeks for one hour. Hotdogs and chips will be provided after.)

09 May 2026: Neighborhood Yard Sale

22 June 2026: Annual HOA Meeting (at Douglass Hills City Hall, 219 Moser Road, Louisville, KY)

26 July 2026: Summer Block Party (the cul-de-sac at 1123 Blackthorn Rd)

11 October 2026: Fall Festival (Chili cookoff competition)

31 October 2026: Neighborhood Trick or Treat (if bad weather, look for an alternate date to be published on the DHE Facebook page).

13 December 2026: Christmas Caroling (If you would like the Carolers to come to your house, please leave us a message on Facebook no later than 12 December 2026.)
